Artist's Description

The Market House - Fayetteville, North Carolina - USA

Completed in 1832 - (Built on the site of the �Old State House� which burned down in the �Great Fire� of 1831 which destroyed most of the city.)

Served as town market until 1906 and Town Hall until 1907.

Listed in National Register - September 15, 1970.
Designated National Landmark - November 7, 1973.
NRHP reference no. 70000451.

Located on Market Square in downtown Fayetteville.
